Keep their leaf
A loved one’s story can stay with the family. Open their profile and choose Edit Profile. Turn on Memorial profile, and add the date of passing if you know it. Their relationships and memories remain part of the tree.
Add their story
Visit Memorial Pages to find the family’s memorial profiles. Add memories from their profile, write about their life, and gather photos into an album. Small everyday stories are just as welcome as the big occasions.
Choose whether to share
If the family wants friends outside the tree to visit, a family admin can enable memorial sharing in Settings. The admin then chooses Share a public memorial link on the individual profile. It is a separate decision for each person.
Care for contributions
Open the memorial to review what visitors can see. Guests can leave tributes when that option is enabled, and those contributions need review before appearing. Your family can keep caring for this space at its own pace.
