AT YOUR OWN PACE

Let’s walk through it.

  1. Give people a place

Open Permissions and Roles to understand who can do what. A family admin can change a member’s role and assigned branch. The branch root tells the app which person and descendants that member is responsible for.

  2. Understand editing rights

Contributors can care for profiles within their allowed branch, including current spouses and partners. Some unclaimed memorial parents can be maintained by their adult children. Ancestors and unrelated branches remain protected. If someone cannot correct a name, check their branch assignment first.

  3. Review with care

Open Approvals to see contributions waiting for review. Use the content and status filters to find what needs attention. Review the actual photo, video, or story before deciding whether to approve it or request changes.

  4. Help the contributor

Use the available review actions and give a useful reason when something needs changing. A family admin can review across the family; branch managers work within their scope. The goal is to help people share their memories with confidence.
