AT YOUR OWN PACE

Let’s walk through it.

  1. Open their profile

Let us make this leaf feel more like the person you know. Find them in People or select their leaf and choose View Profile. If you have permission to care for this profile, you will see Edit Profile.

  2. Add the details

You can correct a spelling, add a maiden name, enter a birthday, or write a little about their life. Leave dates blank when you do not know them. A favorite quote or a place they called home can make the profile feel wonderfully personal.

  3. Frame their face

Choose a profile photo, then use the crop controls to frame their face. Move the picture and adjust the zoom until the leaf preview looks right. Apply the crop, then save the profile. A clear head and shoulders photo usually works best.

  4. Save and check

Choose Save Profile and check the portrait on the tree. If you cannot edit a relative, your family admin can check your assigned branch. Changing a leaf name does not change the email address or password used to sign in.
